The Complicated Journey

I want you to comfort me, Lord, but I’m not seeking comfort.

I want you to heal me, Lord, but I’m not seeking healing.

I want you to make me feel good, Lord, but I am not seeking a good feeling.

I want you to fulfill me, Lord, but I am not seeking fulfillment.

Lord, all I am seeking is to know you more.

If I know your heart, I will be comforted.

If I know your love, I will be healed.

If I know your joy, I will feel good.

If I know YOU, I will be full.
