It”s never easy….but it’s worth it.
I absolutely LOVE seeing people who have given their lives to Jesus.
-Not just their lives…their hearts, their families, their finances, their time, their strength, their pride, their shortcomings, their jobs…in every aspect, in every way they are living to glorify Jesus!
I always wondered what this verse meant: So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. - 1 cor. 10:31
Like…how can you glorify God by taking a sip from a cup, or by doing your homework, or just by driving around town?
I think I finally understand that it is the manner that you carry yourself in. The regard you have for others, the love you show, and the smile on your face.
It is just so incredibly hard to surrender EVERY SINGLE PART OF MY LIFE to God.
Lord,
I pray that my heart will be that of a servant. That I will give you all of me, down to the very heartbeat, so that you will be pleased with my life. Help me to cut out the parts of my life that I do not need, and to do everything for your glory.
